Colin was a partner of Clifford Chance between 1987 and 2000 specialising in international finance work. During his two years at White & Case, the London office expanded from 53 lawyers to 140 lawyers, developed new practice areas and gained new institutional clients. In 2001 the firm was named as Global Law Firm of the Year and Best US Law Firm in London by leading legal publications.
